KIXW Apple Valley silent

When a radio station stops broadcasting and puts up a message on its website that says "Your Favorite Shows Aren’t Gone — They’ve Just Moved!" that means your favorite shows are gone.
If you can access the station’s website you also have to ability access those shows’ webstreams, unless you are stubbornly glued to the AM radio platform.

Apparently conservative talker KIXW 960AM in Apple Valley is now gone, per website and local Facebook mentions.

I've been wondering when this was going to happen. Keep in mind that El Dorado used to be in San Luis Obispo, CA and Yuma, AZ. The company got out of San Luis Obispo a few years back and got out of Yuma this year by selling their FM stations to K-Love, Inc. and silencing KBLU-AM. Since K-Love, Inc. already has two FM outlets serving the Victorville/Apple Valley area (it might try to get a third outlet to carry its spanish religious network), El Dorado is probably going to have to look elsewhere to sell its FM outlets in that market.

All of this says to me that El Dorado is trying to get out of the radio business as quickly but as smoothly as it can.
