KJCS 103.3 Nacogdoches

100000watts.com reports KJCS is stunting. Are they changing formats or just re-launching?

Does anyone stunt before relaunching? I would think it would give your loyal listeners a chance to sample the competition.

You mean "96.3" and KSCS can't be heard in Lufkin.
Anyhow, I haven't heard anything that resembles stunting except for the fact they don't have live DJ's anymore. That's due to the fact that they are no longer associated with Yates.

I have seen stations stunt before relaunching. 100.3 Jamz did it back in the 90's What are they stunting with?

More from around Dallas...then-top 40 KRBV 100.3 stunted between its "Hot 100" and "Wild 100" relaunch in 2001. In 1992, KEGL spent a weekend playing all Eagles songs to relaunch itself (moving from top 40 back to its more traditional rock-leaning top 40 roots of the '80s). I seem to recall talk KLIF 570 stunting with old KLIF audio before it reimaged as the "Big 570" about a decade ago.

Back in the late 90s, when KJCS relaunched as "The Country Authority, KJ103" they stunted for a day with "The Authority Song" By John Mellencamp... or at least, that's what they told me. I wasn't with them then.
