Now thats more like it! A much bigger signal in Clovis.
Well, i had occasion to go downtown Fresno today and found the 100.5 to be very "iffy" by the time i got to McKinley on 168. So much for those clear channel days when no one else was on the freq :( But it does sound good in Clovis.

So let me ask if if 100.5 is even a good channel for this lpfm to be on? Maybe 98.3,98.5, 97.3 or other adjacent channels of full power stations would be better than having to compete with a near by station? Just a thought.

Not those 3, 98.3 and 98.5 can't be used because of KZLA 98.3 Huron which has a CP to move to Riverdale (105.5 site)and is waiting on the final approval of it, I'm thinking if that falls through and the station stays in Huron, 98.3 or 98.5 could be used for a LP-FM in Fresno but not at Meadow Lakes, same for 97.3 because 97.9 is also at Meadow Lakes.

Maybe it's just the weather, but for the last week, I've found 104.3 more listenable in NE Fresno than in the past. Pulling into my garage close to Willow, it's loud and clear. Signal is better than the translator at 100.5. Is there something else going on here or is it just atmospheric conditions?
