KJOY's Bill Edwards has an opportunity here

Allen Sniffen says Al Bernstein was terminated at WLTW. If true I don't know what his intentions but I assume eventually just like the others he'll want to land another gig. This presents an opportunity for Bill Edwards. Berstein's options in my opinion are limited. Most stations have no vacancies available. KJOY on the other hand does have an available position for Bernstein. Jodi Vail can stay where she is from 9-2 and then Edwards can give Bernstein the 2-5 afternoon shift. It would mean Edwards would have to give up his on-air shift but I don't see any impediment for him doing that because Edwards is the stations program director so he wouldn't be putting himself out of a job. He would simply be relinquishing his on-air duties to another talent and electing to work full-time on his off-air duties. It's a win-win for everyone. Edwards lands a top talent and he gets to spend all his time and energy on his programming responsibilities.

You are forgetting 1 thing.... cash. Don't you think the reason Bill is on air is because it's cost effective? They certainly aren't going to shell out a bunch of coin for Bernstein. Let's face it, if a person doesn't do 2-4 jobs at a station, they aren't going to be around..... Great idea, but not realistic.

It's too bad they didn't keep Bernstein and get rid of Kaminski, who is totally wrong for the format (and sounds like a squeaky teen).

Lite's horrible variety of music dosent help either. Their HD2 Channel is very good!!

I'm glad you're letting Jodi stay where she is. That's very nice of you. I think Bill Edwards will agree with you at least on that count.

Kamminski probably makes 1/3 of what Bernstein made.

It's all about the almighty dollar at cheap channel.
