KJoy's Christmas in July Weekend

Anyone else heard this? They even played "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" in its entirety when I tuned in around 5:40 pm yesterday.

I'm glad there's Christmas music in July, not like we don't get enough in December. I never thought you could burn out Christmas music. It used to be well rested and even the familiar songs would sound fresh EVEN in December of years past, before the all Christmas crazy hit a few years ago. One or two cuts an hour leading up to the Christmas week... maybe a FEW more as you got towards the 24th.

Now it's all burned out before December 5th.

WALK has a signal that reaches all of Long Island. K-Joy covers west Nassau county, with some signal in New York City.<P ID="signature">______________

The old and beloved 101.1 WCBS-FM in New York played a Christmas song when the temperature hit 101F, which doesn't happened that often. The last time we hit 101 degrees in NYC was on August 9, 2001.

Maybe the temperature hit 98 degrees which was why WKJY played a Christmas song.

AND...

Is kevin j. sealy the MTV guy? If so, you were/are awesome.
