That would put him at 62 or 63. So, I wonder if he'll even go back into radio.

"HEY KENT", I'm 65 still in Radio will NOT retire, and, I did 5/1 in the Air Force, I was in Radio @KEYN/Wichita in 1968 @McConnell Air Force Base and doing 7-12Mid 7 Nights a week..Budget Cut is not getting fired or you would not get Unemployment..I've worked 28 markets Kent, this just happens to be my FAVORITE!!!

First of all, let me say "Welcome to the board, Andy!" Good to have you here!

I'd also like to say that I hope you find exactly what you're looking for, and I'm glad to hear you like it in Tulsa. I left Tulsa about 20 years ago, and, while I've tried to come back a few times (as recently as early last year for one), I've always ended up finding something where I am. I know you made another post saying a CHR was interested in you, and I say, why not? Dale Dorman did CHR well into his 60's in Boston. So, there's no reason you couldn't either!

I heard Guns and Roses- Paradise City the other day. Has that always been in rotation or are they tweaking the playlist some? All the jocks still sound good to me. Jeanna and Jill have some great pipes for the format. Not familiar with this "Mac" guy that has been on quite a bit. Sounds great. Where did he come from?
 
Mac is from the Edge I think. The guy does sound freakin' awesome. Jeanne, Davey and Jill sound major market. Mac and/or Billy Madison will end up in regular rotation. Two power adds. The music does sound better too. Who is the PD?

The best pipes at Star belong to Bobby Butler.

And if Billy ends up on Star...might as well change the format, because that will not work for a Classic Rock demo.
