Yep. Format has been in transition for the last couple of weeks and the playlist is getting better by the day. Didn't realize how much I'd missed the 80's until I'd started listening. The imaging needs to change - it's still a little KJwl'ish, seems out of step with the music. Now, if Opperman showed up in the morning soon, instead of Michaels, this could be a good escape from the all too dead formats that populate the airwaves. No offense to Michaels, but this format is better suited for someone a little more dialed into the era.

Listening today, I noticed they added a lot of Classic Rock of the 80s, even the harder ones like Def Leppard and Whitesnake, and they dumped most of the 70s R&B hits, I was wondering if KJWL or The Fox split from One Putt Broadcasting.

Does seem as if there are changes underway downtown. When did 99.3 dump local talent? I rarely listen to them, but checked them out today after checking 95.3 out. 105.5 has a good chance of being a go-to station for me.

I don't really listen to 99.3 either, seems they are having a hard time competing with Y-101, according to the last Spring ratings. As far as 105.5, I will be listening a lot more also.

It's definitely WIP... I caught it today for a couple hours and was impressed with what's been added in the last week. More New Wave (well, it was then) would be good. Classic Rock is so burned out locally.

Now this station is starting to fall into the black hole, sound more like MEGA 97.9 everyday Classic hits, yea right , KKDJ 99.7 is sounding better every day.

Sorry for this post last night KJWL is not starting to sound like Mega, they are playing all genres of music, like a Classic Hits station should do, It was beer night and The Bulldog Won again, I listen to KFRE 940 for the audio, and watched ESPN news side lines a live feed of all games, much like NFL RedZone , I have a sports package that gets Red Zone, The NFL Network for 10 extra bucks a month ,but doesn't include the college sports channel ESPU, that cost an additional 18 bucks on a higher tier, FU XFINITY

KROQHD2, available either direct or Radio.com is doing all 80ās. KJWL sucks by comparison. But then, most everything over the air in Fresno sucks.
