KKBQ HD-3 and KLOL HD-2

The audio is back on KKBQ HD-3. It had been silent for the past few days. Funny,
they are running the audio from 97.1 Country legends on it, but it seems to lag about :28 seconds behind 97.1.

Also, KLOL HD-2 is running the audio from KTRH, but it lags about 1 full minute behind
the AM station. I know it takes time to convert analog sound to digital, but it should not be that bad.

They may have the lag to increase buffering from their studio to the transmitter site. The HD1 audio is often encoded at the transmitter while the HD2 and HD3 audio are at the studio and have to take a different path out there. If your network is extended to the transmitter site via extra capacity on a T1 audio link for example or a wireless link, you may want more buffering of the supplemental HD channels to compensate for periods of high network traffic.
