KKFN Marks 25th Anniversary

Bonneville Sports “104.3 The Fan” KKFN Longmont/Denver has announced it will launch a campaign tied into tomorrow’s 25th anniversary of its switch to Sports Talk.

950 KKFN Denver completed its gradual shift from Country KYGO to Sports on March 6, 1995 that had begun the previous October with the debut of its afternoon show hosted by Doug Moe and Tom Green. Thirteen years later on March 6, 2008 the station moved to FM as it replaced Smooth Jazz “CD 104.3” KJCD. To mark the occasion, KKFN is returning to a variant of its original logo and will launch a three month campaign that will culminate with a 25th Anniversary Celebration to be held in June that will include an on-air reunion show with former station talent.
