Former Denver Bronco Tyler Polumbus, and co-host of The Drive on KKFN-FM (104.3 The Fan)/Denver, has created a new challenge to increase awareness and raise funds to beat ovarian cancer. On Saturday, September 19, beginning at 7am, Polumbus will trade his Denver Broncos jersey for a teal cycling jersey. "Pedal with Polumbus to Beat Ovarian Cancer" is a fundraising campaign for the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance that sees Polumbus ride 100 miles (approximately 166 loops) around the outside of Empower Field at Mile High.

Polumbus is committed to raising awareness of ovarian cancer so that others don't lose their mothers, wives, sisters and daughters. His mother, Nancy, lost her battle with the disease in April after a six-year battle.
