From Gary Lycan..... Saul Levine, president, Mount Wilson Broadcasters – KKGO/105.1 FM, KGIL/1260& 540 AM, KKJZ/88.1 FM: "I believe that radio will be stronger and more focused by the end of 2008, but the early part of 2008 will see continued cutbacks and fine tuning of formats due to the concerns about the economy and the changes in leadership of the consolidated groups. There will be pressure from the FCC for more local content in radio. KKGO 'go country' and KGIL NewsTalk look forward to a successful year now that our formats are established and gathering momentum. KKJZ (mainstream jazz) looks very promising now that major adjustments are in place."
Always nice to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.
