KKGO

On the Oldies board, there is another long discussion about how no radio station can make money appealing to the over 55 crowd.

Last week, I was in my car for about 8 hours a day driving around L.A. When I was in a part of the area where Indie 103.1 wouldn't come in, I switched over to 1260 and listened to KKGO.

I really enjoyed the variety of music they played and while I understand I was probably the only one under 65 (I'm just 40) listening, the station is a real treasure.

Does Saul Levine make any money on this signal or does he just do it for the love of the music?

I'm not sure Saul loves Music, but he loves Radio, and I believe he is the only Mom & Pop owner in town with a full market stick. What type of commercials did you hear by any chance?. Owners love Trades. Saul does what he wants, and does not do it for the money, if any?
