On the Oldies board, there is another long discussion about how no radio station can make money appealing to the over 55 crowd.
Last week, I was in my car for about 8 hours a day driving around L.A. When I was in a part of the area where Indie 103.1 wouldn't come in, I switched over to 1260 and listened to KKGO.
I really enjoyed the variety of music they played and while I understand I was probably the only one under 65 (I'm just 40) listening, the station is a real treasure.
Does Saul Levine make any money on this signal or does he just do it for the love of the music?
