The Real Don Steele would be proud of you, JD. I'm not sure what The Fake Don Steele thinks of this, though.

Thanks, michael. Somebody who gets it finally responded!

Recognize Asians how? Asia is the largest continent on the planet with dozens upon dozens of languages spoken throughout it. There's sixteen official languages in India, another dozen in China, there's Arabic, Russian, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Thai, Pinoy, Malay, and so on and so forth.
On top of that, Houston's Asian population isn't as large as the Hispanic one.

Vietnamese. There's nearly as many folks with the last name of Nugyen and Dang as Gonzalez and Garza.

uhmmm..... no i don't think so. not even close. there are many vietnamese and the population deserves its own fm station. but the numbers are not even close to hispanic numbers

first of all, hispanics are all over the GREATER houston area and so as far as the station will go it has an audience of hispanics. and secondly houston just last year went over 50% hispanic, so by definition it is not possible to have as many vietnamese.

and that is not even taking into account how fast the hispanic population is growing here.

DC: GREATER Houston is nowhere near 50% hispanic. I appreciate your incindiary opinions all over this board, but can you back up your bizarre opinions with any facts at all?

Why is it that even though you post over and over again (ad nauseum) your listings say you only have 7 posts?

Sam Malone and Walton and Johnson say hi.

The Houston MSA, with 4.8 million persons 6+, has 1.6 million Hispanics 6+. That is nowhere near 50%. Nice try.

And the population, if growing at all, is growing in the under-6 age group, not in adults... since the economy has essentially stopped immigration.

David - Just worry about your home market and your company and your job! Happy Friday the 13th.

This is a discussion board. And you are not the censor.

An incorrect statement about the Hispanic percentage of the Houston market was posted. It deserved correction, lest it be accepted as fact.

Oh, and I don't have a "home market" anyway.
