KKLO changes to Spanish Christian

KKLO 1410 and it's translator on 92.7 FM here in Kansas City changed to Spanish Christian music today. No ID messages yet, not even an hourly ID.

KKLO's website now gives a connection error however the new station streams online here. The stream may go offline soon as well though. https://ice41.securenetsystems.net/KKLO

This is the 3rd Spanish Christian station in the KC area this group owns, along with KCWJ 1030 and KCGG-LP 100.7. I'm beginning to think they're overdoing the format now, they'll probably take listeners from each other and compete.

They've been English Christian music all day, no announcements except a woman reading a bible verse and discussing Jacob in English. Most times there's a few second pause between songs as if they're using a basic media player.
I don't know what they're planning, you can stream it with the SecureNetSystems link. Guess we'll see which format lasts, English or Spanish.

LOL 92.7 is actually not airing what's going on the stream. KKLO 1410 is, but the translator is operating as a standalone with Spanish Christian music and the LPFM on 100.7 is now off-air. Haha they're just having a game of musical chairs with the different formats and stations.

We'll see what they eventually do. LOL another station not in line with FCC rules.

I emailed them, got the following back in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish so used a translation service to translate. They say they need people to tell them what is required... Here is their website so if you guys speak Spanish you should tell 'em. www.radioalientokansas.com
”Necesitamos que nos digan qué debemos hacer para estar en cumplimiento con lo requerido. Agradecemos su interés de ayudarnos. Y si puede decirnos quien es usted.”

I know people on this board speak Spanish and can communicate better with them.

K224FF started rebroadcasting KKLO yesterday. Both were Christian music and some talk in English yesterday however are Christian music and some talk both in Spanish today.

Both KKLO and it's FM translator are now rebroadcasting the LPFM KCGG-LP's Spanish Christian programming. The translator has the volume/modulation way too loud and stepping on 92.9 LOL told them a while ago but not fixed yet.
