KKLS-AM Special Temporary Authority

KKLS has been unable to correct their directional signal when it got whacked by construction of a high power transmission near the antenna site. From the FCC web site... "in support of the request, [Homeslice Media Group] states that additional time is needed because it has been unable to find a technical solution, and therefore is also considering filing an FCC Form 301 application to move the station to a new site. The STA was extend until June 2017.

Would it be worth the expense to build a new antenna site for a what is essentially a daytimer? I suppose 111 watts at night goes a bit further than you can throw a snowball but not by much with all the interference on AM these days.
