KKNT broadcasts 84 day old news broadcast today....twice!

Yep, its Groundhog day at KKNT, a few days ago, they played an 81 day old news broadcast, today, they played it again at 1230 and 1330.

Only now, its an 84 day old news broadcast.

Pathetic, even 1100 isn't that bad. Buy some freaking equipment, or go replace the rhesus monkey you have that puts in the news carts.

Or, even better, switch formats because this talk thing doesn't appear to be working. I think a lot of people would love the return of KOOL-AM! ;D

This is an utter embarrasment. If you're going to do radio, do it right. Don't cut corners and pretend that you know what you're doing.

Puny? I can think of several Valley stations that are far worse.
 
84 day old news cast? I heard a show intro for Barry Young on KFYI the other day that was about 4 years old....KFYI has KKNT beat again!
 
About a year ago I was up North in the pre-sunrise hours. The only stations I could get from Phx were KFYI and KTAR. I am far too sane to listen to the rabid insanity of KFYI, but I heard Barry (not his real name) Young starting his show. I haven't listened to Young since the old KFYI days when Tom Leykis ground him up into mincemeat in those famous "Battle of the Talk Show Hosts."

So here was Young, opening up and drooling on about Ronald Reagan for a good ten minutes. Funny thing, it was exactly the same prattle I heard some 23 years ago.

Made me wonder if he was live or if he just dug up an old tape of one of his shows.

Tom Leykis...REALLY? Blow me up..and Nurse Jeff, Tom!

Two things the Nurse and I miss about the 9~Ten days of the Nearly Bald One: 1) The dungeon sounding reverb, 2) Barry's 3rd hour intro featuring Snap's I've Got The Power and 3) Dr Science. The rest is pretty much the same (fake studio audience sfx...ooooooooooo)



....what this has to do with KKNT beats us!
 
Barely tryin Youn's show is pretty awful. He just phones it in, and the slurry debutante prattles on and on about how offended she is that Obama didn't wear a tie...zzzzzz

But they are Einstein, Feynman and Stephen Hawking all rolled into one compared to Broomhead. Seriously, that hillbilly is bad! Oh, and he is part of the entertainment at the upcoming Russell Pearce rally. Way to go Mike, drool all over that clown.

Leykis was good on KFYI, then he became a sad joke later on, more like a pervy uncle than a radio host.
 
Yes tommy leykis. All 450 pounds of him; he ends up doing talk radio for men or some such drivel while wondering why he can't get any woman who doesn't walk on all fours to even look at him.
