KKXT (KXT) 91.7 FM

TheRover, yes, also with online streaming.

That will be especially important for any Local Programming from KXT.

Some, if not all of the National Programs that are going to be offered in KXT, can already be heard streaming online.

For example, the Overnight program UnderCurrents is streamed by Native One and by other PBS stations, including KUT 90.5 in Austin.

BTY, I see that Public radio in Austin decided to go the way of HD, with 3 channels, and whatever that costs vs. buying a new station ala KERA.

And their combined listenership on HD2 and HD3 is extremely low since the penetration of HD radios is miniscule in that market.

Every time I get down that way Im always listening..Its a good station and Im really looking forward to KXT...It will be a breath of fresh air in the market for sure.

Down in Austin, their radio dial on the lower side as I recall doesn't offer too many choices.
