KLAA Lineup Change?

Not that this will have any impact on their bottom of the ranker ratings but the KLAA program schedule reveals Travis Rodgers takes over mornings effective Monday, Feb 18 and The Sports Lodge moves to afternoons...has anyone told Roger or 714 Tickets yet???

There's a one hour overlap (at least for now) with Travis' network show on YSR...so it will be interesting if the 9-10 hour repurposes the 6-7 hour or if KLAA actually carries the first hour of his network show.

My guess is that AM 830 airs the show live as is (since it's based in Houston) followed by the rest of the Yahoo Sports Radio Line-up with the exception of Roger Lodge in the afternoons.

You're right "Dave" it's not interesting...unless you're Travis (who, RadioFanBoy) moved out of Houston months ago, has been dropped from his local hour in Houston, and seen his network show cut in half) or Roger, who now faces alot of days off thanks to hockey and Angels playbyplay (not necessarily a bad thing for the listeners). It's also not likely Carpino, Baronfeld and the new PD will be ending their relationship with ESPN and KSPN anytime soon.

BTW it's interesting to see Travis' being so evasive about his future local show plans on Twitter while the station website has had the changes up for a week.

Not that interesting.
Actually, yes interesting. The Sports Lodge in AM Drive has been fun listening for Angels fans for several years now. The daily Baseball Report at 7:42 AM with respected baseball journalists from across the nation is informative, and some might say appointment listening.

Now the KLAA program schedule has changed once again. Their website has dropped the new "Travis Rodgers Morning Show" and back in it's usual time slot is "The Sports Lodge". In addition there's no indication of a new time slot or show for Travis. His former time slot simply says: "ESPN Programming". Looks like they've dropped T-Rodge altogether.

I spoke too soon...the KLAA webmaster has been busy this week. Over the weekend, another change for the morning show...get ready sports fans for the debut tomorrow of sports talk radio's newest duo..."Lodge and Rodgers".
