KLAF, KSHV, WNTZ to My

My Network TV - the most awkwardly named new network this side of the CW - has just named 13 new affiliates... or rather, 13 new stations have signed up to carry the My Network TV package.

Remember, My Network TV isn't so much a network as it is "Oh, crap! We need to fill two hours' worth of programming! Quick!" As far as I know, the programming will even feed a day or two in advance of airing - the same way syndicated material does - rather than live, as the networks do.

Anyway, enough with the rant...

ComCorp signed KLAF/Lafayette up, as sister company White Knight will bring My to 45/KSHV Shreveport and 48/WNTZ Natchez-Alexandria, where it will run out-of-pattern, most likely in midday or late night. ComCorp will do the same in other markets where its Fox affiliate has picked up My programming: 44/KWKT Waco-Temple and 35/WUFX Jackson.

No surprise, but...

In addition; today, the CW announced that Wilderness Broadcasting's KLWB/Lafayette, KCEB/Tyler-Longview and KACB/Alexandria as new affiliates. As to whether they'll take the CW+ feed (which is the CW version of the WB100+ service these stations currently air) or they'll buy and schedule their own programs is not yet clear.

By the way, aside from KACB being operated by WNTZ via an LMA, Wilderness/Dimension/Azar/Whatever They're Calling It This Week has severed all ties with ComCorp.
