KLAT off air

Scanning the dial after lunch today (3/18) and noticed KLAT is off the air. KBBW Waco is coming in with a fair signal. I know they've been daytime only for a while, but are they completely off now?

What part of Houston were you scanning in?

I was in Houston about this time last month and KLAT was on the air. No silent notices have been filed, so it is likely just a temporary issue.

KLAT is still off the air at a 2:45pm check.

They have a CP to reconfigure the day site to (re-)add night service, so engineers might be working on the array, but just a guess. The KLAT day signal has sounded quite feeble recently.

With KLAT off, the KBBW signal into my NW Harris County location is about the same as that from KCTA 20 kHz up. I’ve posted before with the thought that KBBW should buy KLAT on the cheap and shut it down, which might allow the Waco station to loosen up its coverage pattern, perhaps with a power increase.
