Word is Todd Jeffries is returning to KLBJ. A news anchor friend in Dallas says KRLD is trying to keep him, but he is coming back to Austin to be with family. I hope this is true KLBJ needs him

No doubt...Actually that station needs a REAL newscast at the top of the hour.
"News" Radio 590...what a joke. It's three quick readers then onto 58 minutes of right-wing blather with spots every nine minutes....a pathetic excuse for news.
Yeah, but they are “fair and balanced”.
(Try saying that without laughing.)

The one thing that has puzzled me the most is why KOKE, imo, has had ZERO street presense since they flipped to AAR. They've finally gotten at least half-way decent imaging now (as opposed to what sounded like stuff put together and recorded by the salespeople). But no billboards, no stickers, no anything that I've seen. have they done any print at all?

The only advertising they've done on a regular basis is the .... Texas Observer! Talk about preaching to the choir!

No kidding. They're working hard for every point they don't get, then. I bet more people in Austin listen to AAR over the internet than on KOKE.
