KLBJ-AM New Program Starting 01/04/2018

KLBJ-AM has announced that:

"You may have heard Buck Sexton filling in for Rush Limbaugh or perhaps you have seen him providing analysis on Fox News Channel. Starting January 4th you will be able to hear Buck’s insight every weeknight on KLBJ from 7 PM to 10 PM. Buck’s background includes his work at the CIA and NYPD counter-terrorism units. He has a unique view of the day’s biggest stories and you won’t want to miss a show weeknights 7 to 10 on NewsRadio KLBJ."

Apparently they are eliminating "The Dana Show" that was from 7 PM to 9 PM. And, they must be cutting into an hour of "Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis" because he currently starts at 9 PM and goes to 12 AM (midnight).

I tried to listen to "The Dana Show" three or four times. One time the show was about your five favorite candies or candy bars. (Yawn.) I don't remember specifically what the other two or three shows that I listened to featured but it was something like your five favorite mixed drinks, your five favorite TV shows, and other riveting subjects like that. (Yawn.) And, every time she laughed (which was a lot of times) I thought they must be playing that clip of Hillary laughing that is used as a sounder on many conservative shows. But, it was really Dana laughing.

I have not heard of Buck Sexton since I don't listen to Rush but I don't expect much information from him if he is like Rush, that is, for entertainment purposes only, not real news.

The one time I heard him, he talked alot about mechanics of decision made by countries all of over the world. Which would make sense considering his background. If he is smart he will stick to that and not talking points.

Remember listening to Art Bell years ago. Lets just say it was creepy listening to him and working in an empty office in the wee hours of the morning.

You can still hear Art Bell (reruns) on KLBJ-AM. I think all of the Sunday night (10 PM- 12 AM) "Coast to Coast AM" reruns always (or usually?) feature Art Bell.

Sunday Program Schedule
10:00PM- 12:00AM Coast to Coast AM
