Sales people are blabbing it all over town. KLBL finally gives up country for Urban AC. The flip happens Friday. But like their sellers say...shhhh, don't tell anyone.

I hope it is true. I've been saying for years now that the area can support it and it would do GREAT in Northeast Texas. It will be an amazing one/two punch for Rusty.

It is indeed true. I've talked to two different people "inside" The BULL and they are NOT in sales. Look for a studio move to Tyler as well.

Our sister station the BULL (99.3) will be off the air as Thursday 12 noon.
By the middle of August we (The Blaze) will have a second station that you all will come to know and love, and this new station will represent your business with great success just as the Blaze can.
It will be an up-beat mixture of Urban/non Urban, Mainstream, Adult contemporary Station playing 80's, 90's and today's hits.
> It is confirmed on R&R's website...

More than likely they have one, and the pay is probably 19 K. In keeping up with the cheap consolidation era. Next up KYKX goes hurban.

That is hardly Urban AC. It sounds like Jammin' Oldies for the next generation. I'll be anxious to hear what it sounds like, but it is not Urban AC and yet again ET will still be without one. Well, that leaves KYKX with a foot in the door, if they wish to open it. <P ID="signature">______________

That's good news that East Texas finally has an Urban AC, it's long overdue. How does the station?
