KLEG/44 SEEKS STA FOR DIGITAL

KLEG/44 has filed an STA to fire up digital operation on RF-44 citing:

[...] URGENTLY NEEDING TO GET ON THE AIR TO MEET COMMITMENTS MADE TO ITS SPONSORS.

This is interesting because KLEG already is widely carried in the area on cable as well as Dish and Direct TV. Plus, it's been simulcast on KATA/50-3 for OTA viewers. Ergo, the sense of urgency in STA is then somewhat ``interesting''.
 
If they have programming for multicast lined up, and ad dollars depend on it, then I can absolutely see the urgency.
