KLLL, KONE, and KMMX Lubbock cited by FCC for airport problems

T wonder how much could be blamed on intermods from the three stations, within the local power lines. KLLL sits next door to a huge substation/switch-yard.

The notices pretty well explain the causes of the problem. In the first case, a combiner not doing it's job. Those two stations are pretty close in frequency for combining, so the combiner tuning is probably very critical.
For KLLL, the engineer fixed it while the FCC inspector was watching by retuning the transmitter. That has nothing to do with any substations.
Sounds like Wilks needs to buy the man a spectrum analyzer to use to tune the transmitters.

Who is Wilks engineer these days?
