KLLS sold?

Just make sure the audio sounds clear LOL a lot of commercial stations like to overdrive and clip the sound too much.

Tom cat is with WTIX/KWMZ

Tom does contract work for them but right now he is sitting 6 feet from me working on a problem here..he hasn't left iHeart....we did lose Luke though last month

and Vacherie is co owned with Cumulus...they do the management on it. We are in the process of replacing the entire tower lighting system there. I proposed going with Lumenserve....the budget got approved so just waiting to see who gets the $$$ :)

I was told they were having trouble keeping the Gates Air DAX3 transmitter on the air.. I need to stop off and get some of my equipment out of the site next weekend, including the stereo exciter..

At least you were able to sell it when you did, CW. I have a feeling nobody would want it if the transmitter won't stay on the air.

A transmitter is easily replaceable. Radio stations are not in the hardware business, and a buyer that does proper due diligence will take the condition of equipment into consideration when making a purchase.

This is not a high power station and a transmitter replacement is in the range of the cost of a mid-price car. And most stations have auxiliary transmitters, too. Some smaller stations buy older transmitters from bigger stations to use as auxiliary units, saving tons of money.
