Let the speculation begin on what KLLY will do now that Jamie, Jack and Stench were shown the door in LA.
1) Darcy moves back to AM duties where she was before leaving and they look for a new AM partner (as well as a new pm driver.
2) They find another syndicated talker...Lex and Terry? Bob & Sheri? Seacrest? Kidd Kraddick?
3) They tread water for a long time...weighing options...until Jamie and gang resign somewhere else...and no one cares here anymore?
My hope...a new local show...but my gut tells me...its a lot easier to pay for syndication when you had that budgeted than to come up with a new morning team budget. It's Buckley after all.
 
I don't see Chris and LaRae ever eever coming back here.... But it would be great if they did.
 
I know that the management at Buckley were VERY disappointed in Chris leaving so soon after investing time in him at KLLY. I doubt he'd be welcomed back with such open arms. I doubt LaRay would ever come back and compete against Ken. Sorry. Dean has a better shot at coming back...and that won't happen either. Again...one word: SYNDICATION. It's all they've budgeted for on Pegasus...not two salaries.
 
Just heard a promo... Darci is moving to mornings. Wonder who will do afternoons?
 
EJ ran an ad in Allaccess not too long ago....it's not there anymore. They were moving Darci to mornings, and were looking to hire 2 more live bodies; One to be her partner, and another to fill in her old slot.
