KLME 105.5 Port Isabel stunting

With all 80's-90's Hair Metal bands. Motley Crue, Warrant, Skid Row, Poison, Quiet Riot, Scorpions, etc......
RDS reads "Stay Tuned"
For a child of the 80's like myself this is a dream come true! Unfortunately, this is not a format I see them sticking with. I'll just enjoy it while it lasts:)

After 2 months of teasing it looks like 105.5 has settled on Classic Rock. 105.5 The Rocket. Signal barely makes it to Harlingen. They've brought back the KRIX call letters. KRIX 99.5 was the Rock Station for the RGV in the 70's & 80's

KRIX Rocket launches

I saw a note that Entravison KFRQ is going to follow the same route as KRIX 105.5 Rocket. I noticed the 80's rock music on 105.5 back in January as well so it gave Entravison time to make its proposed change. I still hear the Active Rock format on 94.5 so I suppose they are still getting ready. If KRIX is already saying its "The Valleys Classic Rock Station" what will KFRQ use?
