KLMR 920 and KLMR 93.5 Lamar, CO have voluntarily surrendered both licenses for cancellation due to extensive storm damage from a recent storm. The cancellation request was filed September 21st

That's crazy! Hopefully Lamar didn't get damaged too badly by the storms, but it's sad to see yet another set of rural stations go by the wayside

The owner of KVAY owned a 33 percent stake in KLMR and his daughter had 16 percent of KLMR
 
93.5 has been heard here on E-skip a few times over the years. Too bad to see them go. No more hit music stations in SE CO. FM dial is sparse, with KVAY, KRKV's classic rock, and multiple religious translators.
 
Sad. I didn't get out to that part of the world very often. But I remember the 920 signal as being quite impressive.
