KLNK-LD license cancelled

Centro Cristiano de Vida Eterna has applied to cancel the license of KLNK-LD RF channel 48, virtual channel 2. Was this ever on the air? Transmitter licensed to Groveton, NE of Houston.

Whoops, after checking this thread I realize I reversed the RF and virtual channels for KLNK. Should be RF2, virtual 48.

I don’t have antenna anymore. I have no signal here in my neighborhood to watch antenna tv. OTA as everyone calls it. I can only get FOX 26 and Univision.

The "Houston TV" template on Wikipedia said it was airing Punch TV. That information was added by "VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004" on 6/1/2023, suggesting that the station may have been on the air at that point. I've personally never received it, and I imagine very few people ever did, considering its low power, low VHF allocation, and location away from most of Houston's TV transmitters.

Briefly. Like the case with KFON at 93.9, it was there one day, gone the next. I imagine the preacher man had grandiose plans to hop it up to Lufkin. Then, realized there ain't much money to be made in them deep piney woods.

While we're on this line of stations and those that own them, has that 91.1 down in New Waverly been turned back on? I've had a open carrier next door to KGLY for the last week or better, there should be nothing at 91.1 up here at all, and there's just no way that it is the pipsqueak signal of KPIT in Pittsburg.
