KLNO HD4

I noticed on the 4th when I got KLNO in HD that they dropped HD2 and launched an HD4. They were playing Spanish music with no liners. Now it’s known as La Mejor 92.9. I feel like it could be on K225BR.

KLNO HD3 has been added. It’s branding is “Your Choice Radio 104-9 FM”. It could possibly be on K255CM.

What I've heard so far is pretty good. I'm perplexed by the 104.9 frequency announcement though. Clearly that's not for the 104.9 you can hear in Dallas, KZMP. I know there's supposedly a translator on 104.9 at Cedar Hill with a very restricted signal pattern, but I don't think that's it. I can't hear that station in Downtown Dallas, all I get is KZMP.

Has anyone heard that translator recently?

“Your Choice Radio 104.9 FM & 94-1 HD3” is still on the air, as of this week, on 104.9 K285HJ. It’s on one of the Cedar Hill sticks, but the signal is totally useless. Even next to the tower, 104.9 KZMP’s HD will sometimes overtake the translator. I guess that’s why there’s a CP to move the translator to 104.1 and a bit to the south. When that happens, it’ll be further from Dallas.

As for the music, I think they are trying to aim for a Hot AC format, but it’s a really weird music mix. The imaging seems to advertise it as an Adult CHR, but I’ve heard Doja Cat, The Righteous Bros., Kenny Chesney and a whole bunch of forgotten hits from the 90’s. I wish the audio quality on the HD3 was a bit better and I also wish they showed Artist/Title info.
