KLOL Billboard

I remember the KLOL slogan "The station that killed Laura Palmer!!" In reference to the popular TV show of the day "Twin Peaks." I think that was on billboards too. Circa early 90's I think.

Another old slogan was "Houston radio sucks!! We just suck less!!"

When I was living in DFW in the late 80's, I had a double take on Central Expwy one day when I saw a KLOL runaway radio billboard with the note "Not available in this market"
 
In the earliest form of the Runaway radio, the speaker screen was in the shape of the peace symbol.
