KLOL/KHMX/KTBZ fate about to be revealed?

You let Joe Morgan and Caesar Geronimo get away. You coulda had the "Big Orange Machine"

You are wrong about the KIKK stickers. In the 1st place Leroy J Gloger wanted the call letters KICK. However, he wasn't able to get them because another station had them. The closest set of calls he could get was K-I-K-K. The size of the "I" was a capital letter. It was the same size of the "K" font wise. I worked at KIKK so I know what I am talking about. However, before that, while a student at Bellaire High School I had a KIKK sticker on the back of my 1969 Ford Ranger. (That was when the Ranger was a big pick-up. By the way my Ranger was white and it never turned brown.)

Lets put that bogus claim, that I have heard before, about KIKK being a part of the KKK to rest. It never was and it was never meant to be. I will add here that by having a KIKK sticker on the back of my truck did not mean I was a bigot or a racist. (Those of you who know will certainly testify to that.) Although, I am sure my neck was red from working outside all the time as a member of the Future Farmers of America.

The beauty of it is that you are free to live anywhere you want and you made that decision.
 
Seriously, I had moved to Houston to attend South Texas College of Law. Obviously I left . Prior to that I had lived in Pittsburgh and Morganton NC. After Houston, I went to Richmond and retired to TAMPA which is not exactly the center of Air America. Of all those places, I'd call Morganton ( pop.12,000) the most liberaterian. I used to listen to Big Ways out of Charlotte. Sorry if I misunderstood the KIKK logo. Obviously I musn't have been the only one. The name Chuck Tiller sounds familiar. Did you do news in Houston? You have to excuse me, but I was a major hippie back then. I do remember Doug Kershaw came to Houston. That was neat. I did like Bum Phillips and Earl Campbell. Sorry.

If you leave buzz as an active rock, you can use that in combination with KLOL as a mainstream rock station to put the hurt on CC.

Wait... they're hanging on to KTBZ, aren't they?

The surgeon general has determined that radio frequency (EMI pollution) in the range of 88.0 mHZ to 108.0 mHZ has caused cancer in laboratory animals.
Therefore, all FCC licenses have been recended.

The class action lawsuits are forthcoming. It seems the uncompensated violation of a person's body by aforementioned waves demands compensation.

The call letters now have a negative value.

Probably the only commercials I like on the radio are the Bill Herst Chevrolet ads. More entertaining than the same list of songs.
