OK so Bo is out Jenny Middays is out and the night guys were also let go why? Ok because they dont fit the format Mega it trying to become ok so who would be perfect for this new Mega? Beto Najera who at one point was on Orbita 100.7 and on La Mera Mera is the firt dj to Join the new Team who else would be great??

Best wishes to those who have been let go. If I worked in the CC cluter I would bail out before they become a Thanksgiving sacrifice. I belive CC will be running clusters in near whole from other markets. They have the technology and the desire. Shows that are still here would not require much staff. The focus for CC is clearly the internet profits!
 
jejejeje David your a evil evil little man... jejejeje Yeah Omar would sound good but he has never worked the Pop/Rock format but he is the voice for a few of CC's Vivas

Yes I noticed Jenny FLy wasnt on air today. And what is going to happend with bo and jenny now? Would they find jobs as djs anywhere else? I also noticed that the Mega events commercials guy sounds like the same guy from la raza 98.5 fm
 
It's a shame that there's no tax supported Public Radio for bad spanish speaking jocks to linger on......eh?
Now worries, there's always some ratings bottom dwelling AM station to tie off your career.

Come on, it's called commercial radio for a reason. You either do it well and make money or leave.

Seruiously! I agree, she was a bad Spanish Speaker. Yet, she had the Mexican accent when she spoke English. Good Grief! :D

Thank you Truth sayer, I was one of the Night Jocks let go!! Lets keep it real, I knew it was coming, one becuz Omega can't keep his mouth shut, and two I had talks with people within the building a while back. I am not a spanish pop jock! The formats I have formerly worked in were CHR and Urban. To say I am a bad jock is not true (I am not the greatest either), i am a bad jock for the Spanish Pop format becuz I don't speak enough spanish. ANd I am ok with that. When I was hired at Mega, I wasn not hired for Spanish Pop, it was a Hurban station at the time.... so now it has flipped ane off I go to start a new adventure with a new station. And Omega, I still think you are unprofessional and a Gossip Queen!!! Your time will Come!!!!!!

dude your (411) ungreatfull i never once talked or made a comment about your job and your on air skills i even gave you the heads up like 2 months before you were let go... i would be happy if some one warned me months in advance before i was let go from a station... i wish you well man... David E u want me to pass you a little list of ppl who dont like you? Lets start with the Dallas clusters Pd! Anyways all i did was pass on some info....Mega needs to still make some major changes and needs some heavy hitters and the new morning show comming soon really is not what i was hoping we would do but oh well!

The Dallas cluster has no PD. KESS is programmed by Gerardo López. KLNO is programmed by Amalia Gonzalez who also does 10 to 3 PM, Estereo Latino is programmed by Arnulfo Ramírez and Raúl Brindis from KLTN, and KFZO by Chayan Ortuño.

Ok, now I'm not to say I am perfect either, but getting fired from Mega is probably not omega's fault. If you were let go, it was either because you were doing bad, or they were just going another direction (which they are). TO blame other people for your problems is very childish.
But I do agree with you, omega is a bigger gossip freak than a "comadre". Which can be a good thing, but sometimes is not good.
 
Anyway in my OPINION mega sucks, I think it would have been better how it was before but add some norteno, and more cumbias

and before you start, OMEGA... I don't need another "radio lesson"...
been at it continuously and successfully (well...mostly successfully) since '75.
we all work at an occasional dog station, but that you do know about, huh?

I never onced said anything about you talking about my on air skills... I personally have nothing against you nor do I blame you for me being let go. However somebody who is on the "inside" should never release information about a radio station that may help the competition thats were my problem lies with you. FYI you didn't warn me about me being let go I knew it was coming a long time ago.
 
411 My best wishes to you man it sucks that you were let go because your a really good dj and have been around in the Houston airwaves for a while now! And just to make it clear i never said i was in the inside..
And Romer979fm ive been in radio for over 11 years bro ive worked with more then 20 station and i would put some money on it that if you compare your numbers to my numbers you would come out loosing big time!!

Then it might be my mistake that somewhere i read you were on the inside. Thanks for the compliment I'm headed off to a different market but maybe I'll be back in houston soon.
