Streams of AM or FM or even of HD2, HD3 or HD4 channels are rated. Usually, they are combined with the listening to the AM, FM or HD channel for listing in the ratings under what is called "single line reporting" because stations would rather have all the simulcast listening combined to get a higher single ratings rank.Keep in mind if it's on tune in HD2 klos thousands of listeners might be on it. We just don't know because streaming isn't part of the shares in LA

No problem.... there are no "bads" here. We are all here to clarify and discuss and give opinions. Keep posting and participating!Ok my bad david
This seems like a good use of an HD channel. I guess. It looks like it's a Heidi and frank channel. As it's replaying all of their shows.
It's not surprising, almost nobody is listening to the drivel on KABC 790. The HD3 simulcasts the audio from KIRN 670 which has more listeners than KABC and provides a genuine public service to the large Farsi/Persian speaking community in the greater Los Angeles area Lotus should propose an LMA with the operators of KABC and convince them to simulcast Radio Iran (KIRN) on 790 as well. The additional signal would increase their coverage and possibly double their audience. This seems like a good use of an HD channel. I guess.
It's unique alot of hd channels dont do it. Some do it via a webpage though. This seems like a good use of an HD channel. I guess.
Which is a good thing...Since Heidi & Frank are mostly talk and comedy, someone edits out the few songs they play and just give you a continuous replay of their show on KLOS-HD2. Cumulus puts all its stations on the iHeartRadio app. I see it has both "Heidi and Frank" podcasts and "After Hours with Heidi and Frank" as well. But I don't see KLOS-HD2 available on iHeartRadio.
I suppose when KLOS and KABC were both owned by Cumulus, KLOS had KABC on one of its HD subchannels. But they have separate owners now, so there's no KABC on any FM HD channel.
Maybe he would have to pay a fee to get kday on iHeartRadioOops. I mentioned that Cumulus puts all its stations on the iHeartRadio platform. But KLOS is no longer a Cumulus station. It was acquired by Meruelo Media in 2019 for $43 million.
Never the less, KLOS is still on iHeart. So are two of its co-owned Meruelo stations: KLLI and KPWR. But oddly, you can't hear Meruelo's KDAY or KDEY on iHeartRadio.
