May I remind all of you that Lisa Williams had the opportunity of co-hosting a fill-in with somebody named Gator (I don't know his last name). Both of them filled in for Larry Wayne, another K-LOVE personality on the syndicated show "Streets of Gold". It was one the Christmas editions, that was the first time I heard Lisa Williams, and she sounded great along with Gator. "Streets of Gold" is the notorious program that plays the best in Classic Gospel (most of the rotation is Gospel Pop/Contemporary-oriented, formerly CCM as defined by both the GMA and Gospel Music Channel through "The Best of the Dove Awards") of the '70s, the '80s, and the '90s (1990-1997 is particularly the rotation for that decade thus they don't have anything from 1998 or 1999). Concerning the '90s rotation as we reach toward the decade between the years 2010-2020, Larry Wayne, alternate host Lisa Scott, and producer Jack Reeves may start adding the tunes from '98 & '99 to their rotation. If Gator is ever called to fill in by himself, it's usually either a Top 25 or Top 30 Rock-Related Countdown thus they mix in classic hard core Gospel Rock, Gospel Rock/Contemporary, and Gospel Metal. No, "Streets of Gold" isn't broadcasted on K-LOVE. However, it is broadcasted on affiliates such as KTLW in Lancaster, CA (online, on the radio, and on Sky Angel IPTV Channel 210), Z-73/AM 730 KDAZ in Albuquerque, NM (online, on the radio, and on Sky Angel IPTV Channel 229), and worldwide at Live365.com. For more affiliates, playlists, and any additional information, please visit http://www.streetsofgoldradio.com/.

Thanks for the info on Streets of Gold. I used to listen to it when I got the chance from KSUD AM 730 in the Memphis area until it was changed to a K-LOVE station and didn't know if it was still on or not. It looks like it would make sense for K-LOVE to either carry it or get Larry Wayne to host a similar program.

What has happened to the talk that Jon Rivers may be back on K-LOVE soon? It looks like if he actually is coming back now would be the time since they're having their plegde drive.
