KLRA ratings question David Eduardo or anyone

I asked a friend of a friend....I am not sure how accurate but here's what I got back:

KRLA

12+ 9a-Noon
0.2 rating
178,300 weekly cume
19,300 avg listeners

KRLA

25-54 9a-Noon
0.1 rating
71,800 weekly cume
7,800 avg listeners

Just to put it in perspective,

KFWB with Laura Ingram (YUK!) is getting:

25-54
0.1
86,000 weekly cume
4,800 avg

KABC with "The Triplets" is getting:

25-54
0.1
79,000 weekly cume
8,300 avg

They are all in the 30's as far as rank.

KFI is getting:
25-54
0.4
208,900 weekly cume
23,900 avg

and is ranked #21 overall.

This is from the DEC PPM.

Hope this helps!

So basically Limbaugh beats the shit out of Frosty, Heidi and Frank, a local show. But is Limbaughs numbers good or bad?

^^Middays shouldn't count! Most people are working then, and therefore not near a radio. Regardless, it's obvious to think that any major syndicated talent would get more ratings than a local show. Plus, FHF are on AM now :(.

12+ KFI in 9-Noon averaged around a 5.8 share for the year 2009, per some sales material. In most months they were first, and any others were second. In 25-54 the average rank was around 10th. As we know, AM talk station don't do so well in under-55 listening because they are AM....

We're talking about an average audience size in the vicinity of 85,000 persons; weekly 12+ cume is just under 600,000 persons.

Huh? In LA, the average persons using radio rating is 11 in mornings, 13 in mid-days and 12 in afternoons across 2009. Middays is the daypart with the highest usage of radio, nearly 20% higher than mornings.

That's actually 14th on 25-54 persons, not 21st. And keep in mind that December includes the Thanksgiving week where Limbaugh is almost always off, and talk stations generally do less well. Most of the year, the show is around, or just below, 10th in 25-54 and first or occasionally second in 12+.

Really? I thought since everyone was at work, I just assumed they would stream the show rather that tune into an FM/AM radio. My apologies...
