KLSQ / Cluster inquiry

I don't live in the area. So, I can't tell you with 100% certainty, but KLSQ would appear to still be silent based on FCC filings.

Seems to me that there's no chance Univision's other stations in Las Vegas would go silent. KLSQ went silent due to a power issue at the transmitter site. KISF and KRGT don't appear to be at the same site and wouldn't seem to be affected. I don't know how they're doing revenue wise, but they don't seem to be getting the ratings they once got. I can't, however, imagine Univision just taking them dark. I'd think it would sell before doing that. Even just for stick value, both would fetch a relatively pretty penny (though the current climate would obviously hurt station values).

Good guess on KLSQ, but wrong.

KLSQ 870 Las Vegas had been silent for about 9 months and was spotted back on air in very late September with it's old spanish sports format from here here in Laramie, WY

About 2 weeks lately, around October 8th, I Heard an 870 tonight playing music in spanish and during a local break, heard commercials for Dollar Loan Center which has locations in Utah and Nevada. A liner or brief spot later mentioned Nevada.

They filed a resumption of operations in early October and are running 1000 watts day 440 watts night, according to the resumption of operations (after i psoted elsewhere that i heard KLSQ, a friend posted the resumption of operations notice but im not sure where they found it)
