KLTG "The Beach 96.5" Corpus sounding great

I was just streaming "The Beach 96.5" from Corpus the other night, and wow, they are sounding great now. I'm not sure when they modified their programming this past year, but I love the new jingles, new sweeper voice, and the move to more of an Adult CHR instead of Modern AC as they had mostly been. I noticed the slogan had also changed from "Today's Best Music" to "The Best Variety of the 90s and Now". Anyway, the station has a much better and more fun sound now and seems to be gunning more for crosstown CHR KKPN "Planet 102.3". I think the decision to freshen it up a bit and add some rhythmic titles into the mix with the pop/alternative stuff is a good move. Also, those old Sean Caldwell sweepers were getting old, and the new production and jingles sound much better.

Just wondering if anyone else had noticed the changes and liked the new sound?

I definitely noticed the Lady Ga Ga when passing by on the dial, that kind of stuff didn't used to be part of the mix. I need to give a more thorough listen again.
