KLTW Moves to 95.7

Looks like KLTW will finally complete their move to 95.7, as well as a tower move to Awbrey Butte tonight...with a 100kw directional signal that should take care of their signal issues in Bend.

They're on 95.7, still on 95.1 right now...and it looks like Horizon has kicked the KBNW-AM simulcast off of the 100kw KWLZ 96.5 signal as it is now in stereo and simulcasting KLTW.

KBNW has been moved to the 104.5 translator in Bend that previously rebroadcast KLTW.

Seems like every station in the market is on reduced power tonight while this move gets completed.

If I'm not mistaken, this move opens up a great opportunity for someone, someday, on 94.9 in the Central Oregon market...someday. Not today. There's enough radio in this market today.

Now it looks like they've put KBNW back on the KWLZ 96.5 signal...and kept it on the 104.5 translator as well.

They're currently running delilah with her recorded bumpers all saying "Lite 95.1" but they're on 95.7.

Why did they even move to 95.7? A tower move on 95.1 would have worked just fine. Or is this all because of KIOK 94.9 100 miles N?
