KLTW Winnie, TX to become Radio Nueva Vida

KLTW is currently airing a looped message that K-LOVE has completed their area signal upgrade. They’re redirecting listeners to Beaumont 98.1 & Port Arthur 94.7 “from Beaumont to Houston it’s 97.1”. They also mention that 105.3 is Spanish Christian Radio Nueva Vida.

Just over a week ago I saw they fired up their HD and had K-LOVE on HD2 as well. So that’s the new primary for those translators
 
Wow. Did not see that coming😳😵‍💫.

Guess that brings an end to the Radio Nueva Vida to KFNC 97.5 speculation to cover both Houston and B/PA. Have to wonder if K-Love Inc. kicked the tires on 97.5 and didn’t like what they found.

Also puts to bed any thought of RNV popping up on another Devers area stick in the near future, such as 93.3.

Assume they are aware that KLTW has no presence in Houston metro. At the same time it shows K-Love Inc. wants to expand the RNV coverage in SE Texas. Perhaps some other stations on their radar? Grab co-channel KTWL (note the KLTW anagram?😉) from Roy Henderson while buying K287BQ from SDK Franco? Go after KAFR and KJIC for a north-south simulcast?

I would think K-Love Inc. will eventually want a Radio Nueva Vida signal for the Houston market in the near future. It is too big of a Spanish speaking metro to ignore.

If they do acquire a Houston station for RNV it would most likely be one of the eastern rimshot sticks. Those signals also cover the Golden Triangle.

So if that happens, what do they do with KLTW?
