Now that Infinity has put WBBM(B96)/Chicago's stream online at its website, could sister station KLUC/Las Vegas be following suit?

IMO, its possible... Not only did the station you mention start streaming, WJFK-FM in DC is due to start next week...

i would like to see komp, kklz and kxpt stream online...they were online about 4 years ago and got pulled....LV is still in the dark ages when it comes to streaming....when it comes to casinos....they are the world leaders in innovations like wireless gambling.

Many cities in the us and canada stream 80% of their stations...lets pressure the broadcasters in LV to do it.

Not Likely

Streaming costs money and unfortunately most radio stations in the Las Vegas valley can't afford to go through all the legal means that are required to stream.

KWNR used to stream online but then when record companies pressured clear channel that they should not play commercials and that they were going to charge them more for playing songs online, clear channel stopped some of it's stations from streaming including KWNR.

The only stations which now currently stream online are KCNV,KVEG,KSOS,KNPR,KCEP,KOAS & KVGS. There are a few on the AM dial as well including KNUU, KSHP, & KLAV.

Stations that should stream are KLUC, KSNE, KMZQ, KWNR, KDWN & KXNT.

If you feel strongly about these stations streaming then you should contact Clear Channel or Infinity radio.

Re: Not Likely

Infinity's Spike 1140 begins streaming this Tuesday, followed in short time by AM840, KXNT.
