KLUV - LONGHORNS?

KRLD is the main carrier of Texas Longhorns Football. KLLI will carry UT games until Rangers are over (officially). Because Live has NASCAR tonight, and the Rangers are on KRLD, so KLUV got stuck with them.

More audience defections to Platinum during the games ----

Sounds like KSKY lost the contract.

id rather they keep the longhorns on an FM station...KRLD will find a way to screw it up

Oh ok....For a minute I thought KLUV was getting back into sports. The should leave the games on 105.3.

I agree, They run them on KVET AM/FM down in austin, why not keep them on the FM side here??

Did Westwood One force KRLD to take the NFL package? What does CBS Radio/Dallas do when the Rangers on are KRLD on Mondays and/or Thursdays. Will next weeks monday night game (Eagles at Cowboys) be broadcast on KRLD or KLLI?

I'm a HUGE Red Raider fan, and it just stinks to high heaven that our broadcast are on The Range. I think their signal is 95.3? I can't remember off the top of my head, but their signal really isn't strong enough to carry over into the Mid-Cities or Fort Worth.

I live near DFW Airport and sometimes I can pick up the games, sometime not.

Sure wish we could a better station.

I've heard the reason why Baylor gets WBAP is that Drayton McLane, pays $1 million each year, up front. Don't know if that is true or not, but that is what I've heard.
