Hi I think that kluv needs to expand the playlist I think that they are doing repeats also they have stopped doing the Super 70's weekend's and weekend themes?
 
Kluv is doing there Eagles weekend also I think that they need to add in more 70's hits to the playlist there are repeats?

For the expanded playlist it needs to include songs like Argent Hold your head up, The Stampeders and Sweet city woman,Andrea True Connection and more more more,and Player and Baby Come Back, and Gordon lightfoot and Sundown,The Hollies and Bus Stop,The BeeGees and Shadow Danceing, Barry Mannilow Coco Cabanna, Niel Diamond and forever in Blue Jeans,The Supremes and Baby Love,and Phil Collins I dont Care, and Phil Collins another day in paradise,Kc and the Sunshine Band and Please Don't Go and Sammy Jhons and Chevy Van and the Beatles and Birthday and Kool and the Gang and Ladys night and Celebration and Jungle Boggie,Agsin I think yall need to expand yalls playlist to include these songs and there are many more out there that should be added?

Hi Kluv is has been doing the 70's at 7 and now as of last Thursday they are doing the 80's at 8 right after the 70's at 7 they need to add in the 70's hits from the 70's at 7 and put thoes songs and the 80's hits from the 80's at 8 and put thoes 70's hits and 80's hits into the regluar playlist?
 
Hi I think kluv needs to add in the old songs that we dont get to hear any more beacuse there are an lot of repeats being played on kluv also I thinks that they should try an back to the 80's weekends or do the Super 70's weekends again?

Kluv is starting to add in the old songs into the regluar playlist like Im so Excited by the Pointer Sisters and Hooked on an Feeling and Al Green and the Spinners and there are many more I cant name but the old songs that we have not heard in an while is starting to get added into the regluar playlist?

jim zippo has been on kluv a lot more lately. i like it. much less boring and i am finding myself actually paying attention to what's on instead of the radio just being background noise. good move kluv.
 
Hi I have noticed that Jim Zippo has been doing the midday show all this week I don't know if Jenny Q is on vacation or not and Debbie has been doing the 7:00 until midnight show this week again I like these changes also they need to bring Jhon Summers back to kluv?

I'm not sure if I should be concerned or entertained with "unregistered"s obsession on KLUV.

At bare minimum at least its keeping this board active.
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices "unregistered"'s posts about KLUV. I'm sure at some point, he/she will reply with another "hi i think kluv should (blah, blah, blah) 70s (blah, blah, blah) jhon (blah, blah, blah)(insert the same thing over and over like the past 4 posts)"

Seriously, I don't even like over 75% of what DFW radio has become but I don't go around RD saying what they need to do over and over, especially posting it four times saying the same thing. KLUV is KLUV and I think they're doing ok in this generation. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it."

Okay, the 2 KLUV threads got my curiosity going I admit. I sampled KLUV online and listened to a few different dayparts seeking to hear both jocks discussed here. What I came away wondering is why KLUV is under-utilizing Zippo on nights and or weekends in the first place. I am assuming KLUV has him voice tracking the night show, am I right on this? He is a strong talent and should be used to bolster the ratings of the entire station in a prime slot, not nights. Powers is a decent enough jock, but not nearly as strong and compelling. I also wonder why Zippo is stuck in Dallas. He is old school GOOD and would be better suited in LA, Chicago or NYC. Just my two nickels.
