KLVF 100.7 - what is this station like?

To his defense, the Wikipedia entry is pretty bare, and the streaming links I've seen aren't ones I'd necessarily recognize as legitimate. Neither KLVF nor its sister station has any real web presence anymore. The KFUN page now redirects to a Turkish site.

Not sure what it's like now, but KLVF used to be so far down in a valley that its signal didn't get out very far from Las Vegas.

I like dedicated local ownership as much as most everybody else on these boards, but KFUN/KLVF don't seem to be well-prepared for the future.

The owners announced 3½ years ago that they were putting the stations up for sale. I see no indication of a sale since then.

The article reports that the Bacas' purchase of the station in 2008 was financed in part through a winning lottery ticket.
