Klvl changes format again...

Today Radio Vision was only on 94.9 with 1480 am being silent.

Also heard that PuroTejanoFM was on KLVL and it’s translator too. Was told that La Numero uno’s programmers had an issue with KLVL but wasn’t told what the issue was. But that they’re hoping to get the issue fixed or that they’re able to move to another channel.
Puro Tejano wants to move to 94.9 as well.

The 94.9 space has a good potential space here in Houston. I don’t think having a FULL POWER FM on 94.9 would affect any other channel.

The 3 FMs we have on 94.9 have terrible signal. They should shutdown.

Not allowed.

94.9 (K235CS) falls well outside of KGBC's 2.0 mV/m contour. No bueno according to the FCC.

The only way KGBC gets on 94.9 is if Omega leases an HD subchannel or another AM station (cough cough KLVL) within reach of K235CS. But by doing that, they'll just move closer to leasing themselves out of business. Leasing isn't cheap and 94.9 doesn't cover the market very well (the area 94.9 covers is better suited for a Vietnamese format).

Making a profit off of a translator is not an easy venture. 104.5 has been leased to iHeart and 94.1 has been leased to GOW. Centro figured out that they can make more money off of leasing than selling ad spaces.

And again Yesterday they switched at 6:15 am they posted that they won’t be able to be heard on the radio.

Now it’s LA NUESTRA with a similar format.

It seems they are just feeding from 1130 AM from San Antonio.

Listened to KLVL for a little while on Sunday, and it was just Spanish language religious music interspersed with the same three commercials for a “relationship therapist”, a chiropractic clinic, and an injury lawyer. No imaging, just a standard TOH ID. How many programmers have this station blown through in the past year or so? At least Synergy Broadcasting finally appears to be really dead.

As KYND has found out, we are probably oversaturated with brokered time stations in the Houston market.

And you know that chiropractic clinic is owned by the same people who own KLVL??

Siga Broadcasting is Gabriel Arango.. Gabriel is also a chiropractor

Interesting I didn’t know that! Thanks for sharing.

I'm guessing, i havent actually heard the ad,... but Gabriel owns a chiropractic clinic in houston.

Siga, Arango chiropractor, and the Relationship therapy folks all share the same building in the Heights, right across Tommy Vaugh Ford.

Ahhh.. would seem to season since Arango Chiro and Siga share an office space since theyre "co owned"

Now they are identifying them selves as radio Vida that I have heard some commercials of them say radio Vida 1480 AM Waller Texas and 99.9 FM Houston Texas..
Dan I hear commercials I’ll be drawing for a vehicle Nexi Dan I hear commercials I’ll be drawing for a vehicle Lexus. Then I hear 1480 AM and 94.9

I can confirm that Radio Vida is on 1380 AM on 1480 AM and 94.9 FM. I could not get a listenable signal to confirm if it’s also a 99.9 FM but on some spots I would listen to 99.9 I would hear different music like Asian music.
