KLVS 99.5 Citrus Heights On the Air

:) K-LOVE is taking over the world :)

K-Love is in the air all over Sacramento at:

89.7, 99.5 and 107.3...Also 92.9 (Nevada City Translator that hits the valley well)

For all you young Christian Whipper-Snappers that find K-Love too un-hip, try K-Love's Rockin' sister station:

Air 1

93.3 (soon moving to 107.1 when they get enough complaints from KHLX), 99.1 and 105.9...Also in Woodland at 104.7.

The poor Fish at Salem.

Check Charity Navigator's Page...Of course, the info is a year old. But look at their budget and what Mr. Jenkins made in 2008.

A huge part of Dick's 2008 salary listed on Charity Navigator was his retirement. He is no longer with EMF. His actual annual salary was in the 300k range.

I am curious as to how the Mather Field interference issue was solved.

I can now receive (3) K-Love's at my house.

I think EMF paid to have the Mather communication frequency changed. They also need time to get the word out.

Only 10's of millions in revenue? Incredible! I should have asked for more when I applied. Apparently, they didn't like my "sound". K!!! ;-)

Like another poster said, "K-Love Is Taking Over The World!" Rock On K-Love! I won't be listening though. Sorry! Not my cup of tea!

Not mine either.

I guess if you use a seek button to tune your radio, you have a good chance of bumping into either K-Love or Air1 in the valley.

Given the complexity of EMF and the number of translators, I suspect they don't even have PPM encoders at their stations. If that's the case then they'll never show up in the ratings, of course. It's pretty much a unique operating model, and I'm not sure they even care what their ratings are as long as the donations keep pouring in.

I'm not hearing the 99.5 signal. I'm assuming yesterday was a test of some kind. Anyone know any specifics? Bud, do you know any more???

I glanced over and noticed several vehicles at the site yesterday and today (while driving to/from work). One can only guess they are performing maintenance. Or, EMF may have been previously testing for Mather interference, assuming all frequency adjustments are complete.

The only station that seems to have a PPM encoder is Air1 station KARA on the Sutter Buttes. Between the station, and the three translators in Sacramento, the station pulls a 1 share in Sacramento.
