KMAK looses LMA

KYA Boss radio KYAF king of the oldies in the valley! I DONT THINK SO, that station signal cannot make it to nearest towns of Mendota & Dos Palos,if im not mistaking I believe there antenna is attacted to a telephone pole.

One more thing about KYAF,even if they raise there power.KBOS will still walk all over them in Fresno.

I wouldn't LMA 94.7 or 100.3. Both are bottom of the basin. There is a signal on 94.7 in Clovis that has been reported to the FCC. KMAK is still running spanish -- but not from the same source or under the same LMA. If the KMAK signal is so good over Fresno, why did Richard Smith almost have a heart attack when the junky Coalinga FM station on 100.1 went on the air a few years back? They were NOT over-powered. In fact the FCC inspector reported it was only operating with half of its licensed ERP from just a 75 foot wood pole and not on the authoized 300 foot tower. And theres another crap station I wouldn't want. KMAK has never made it higher than 5th from the bottom of the ratings. Anyone that would have anything to do with KMAK, 94.7 in Firebaugh or KNGS in Coalinga should be in the mental ward. If you love KMAK -- you should buy it.

KYAF ,there were 2 saturday nights back in march I heard this station ,they wre doing a all request show ,kya boss oldies ,only during that time ,never got the station any other time in Clovis ,If this was this so called pirate repeater ,or the accuall station I don't know. the next morning it was gone.either they only only oparate on saturday nights or ,this so called repeater only operates at night.

I remember a bay area station that had those call letters, this was a repeat station from were I dont know .they did ID this station with another low power station from I believe from Coalinga.

I failed to mention this was sindicated ,not local from Firebaugh.
