So I'm perusing The Kansas Association of Broadcasters webpage and I see that there's a job opening for a morning host at KMBZ. Application deadline is September 1st. And you know something? That ad looks awfully familiar to me! I could almost swear I've seen that exact same ad before (word for word) on that KAB site. Maybe about a month and a half ago, two month ago, somewhere around there.---Then it disappeared.....until now. Now it's back again.
What's up with that? Did they not find someone the first time around? Or did they find someone and things just haven't worked out?
......Just curious.
By the way, speaking of KMBZ.....I see that a while back Russ Johnson got the axe. Before coming to KMBZ, I know he was at KOA Denver for a while. Anybody know where he is now? I don't see his name anywhere. Maybe I'm overlooking it. And while we're on the subject of Russ Johnson.....What happened to him at KMBZ? He wasn't entertaining enough? Too controversial? Anybody know? I'm just asking.
