KMCQ 104.5 Covington WA

Legally, I believe, all t's crossed and i's dotted.
Technically, no sign-on yet (not even sure there is an x-mitter on Cougar, which I think is where they are still planning to locate ... vs. Tiger)
Ownership ... no transffer to Clear Channel (yet)

We understand the plan is to launch on Monday with Jack ... that evening declare "no money in this format" kick to oldies Tuesday and that evening declare "no money in this format" then nostalgia on Wednesday, that evening declaring the same thing...and by Friday wind up as our 239th "Conservative Talk" station in a market that is, ironically, incredibly liberal. Kinda like having 19 "Korean" stations all slugging it out ... in Wichita.
 
What? You guys are so clueless. That allocation is put on hold so they can make a deal with Industry Canada as KAFE will need to move to 104.1. However, a new app just came in a month ago in Naniamo for 104.1. So there is a conflict. But we think that BC app could simply switch to 104.3 in the wake of a vacated KAFE at 104.3 to 104.1. I hear the engineers and the lawyers are having a field day on this one............and the bankers are sweating.....
